Bloom

I remember it like it was yesterday, although it was 18 years ago. I had reached the darkest moment in my life thus far. I was falling apart. I called my dad from the Staples parking lot and just wept. He listened and then he said “Robbie, you are going to come out of this a bloom like a rose.”  I was able to stop crying, take a few deep breaths and trust that he was correct. We all have dark moments, but from the darkness if we can find just a crack of light, we have hope. My dad gave that to me in that moment. And his prediction came true. I weathered the storm, came out stronger and embraced a new path forward.
