Pitch is my “grand cat” also adopted in 2020. She is so precious with her dark black fur and short little legs. It took a while for her to warm up to me, but now when I visit, she greets me and purrs. Like me and Buffy, she and my daughter Sarah have a sweet relationship. Pitch provides comfort at times of distress and makes us laugh. Cats have a bad reputation for being distant and aloof. Not so with our cats. Pitch and Buffy are attached to us; we take care of them and their gift back is love in its purest form.
